I predicted that A.B. Vajpayee would become India's Prime Minister in March 1998.
Based on Vajpayee's horoscope, I was so confident that he would become India's Prime Minister that I predicted BJP and allies would get a simple majority, despite some opinion polls showing a big wave in favor of Congress after Sonia Gandhi's campaign. I was wrong, but I was correct about Vajpayee's ascent to power.

Feb 18, 1998: World's largest democracy, India, is going thru elections for the lower house of its Parliament. Numerous opinion polls have predicted a hung parliament with Hindu nationalist BJP party unable to obtain a majority on its own, as in the 1996 elections.
Based on BJP's prime ministerial candidate (and former prime minister) Atal Behari Vajpayee's horoscope, it is extremely likely that BJP will win a simple majority and Vajpayee will become India's prime minister.
BJP will face many troubles in the first year and will have to wade thru tough tides. However, it will complete 5 years in power.

Mar 13, 1998: During March-April 1998, BJP's leader in parliament and prime ministerial candidate Atal Behari Vajpayee has a powerful raja yoga and he will become India's Prime Minister.
He will have a very tough first year in office, but he will complete the term and may even get re-elected.
