Many Hindus believe in the Vedic culture of praising Gods in hymns in order
to get good results in life (in the fields governed by the Gods praised).
From time to time, great personages (like Aadi Sankara) penned verses/hymns
on Gods in an inimitable style. The richness of this religious literature
is something that truly brings distinction to Hinduism, Vedic culture and
Indian heritage.
Navagrahas or nine planets are also worshipped by many Hindus as Gods.
By God's grace, I was educated in Sanskrit literature when very young and
God has blessed me with the religious and poetic instincts needed for penning
some verses obeying chhandas (meter) and grammar.
Here is "nava graha karaavalamba stotram" written by me in late 1996.
This is written in Sanskrit language.
